Welcome to James, a personal assistant service operated by Quiet Signal Labs, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using James (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

James is designed to assist with tasks such as email drafting, calendar management, reminders, and scheduling only with your explicit approval.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using James, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into this agreement.

3. Nature of the Service

James:

  • Acts only on instructions you provide
  • Proposes actions before executing them
  • Requires confirmation before sending emails, scheduling events, or placing calls

James does not:

  • Act autonomously without approval
  • Provide legal, financial, or medical advice
  • Guarantee outcomes with third parties (e.g., restaurants, salons)

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your accounts
  • Review all proposed actions before approval
  • Use the Service lawfully and ethically

You are solely responsible for any action you approve through the Service.

5. Third-Party Integrations

James may integrate with third-party services (e.g., email providers, calendars, messaging platforms, voice calling services).

We are not responsible for:

  • Availability or reliability of third-party services
  • Errors or failures caused by third parties
  • Actions taken by third parties after a request is placed

Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms.

6. Voice Calls and Scheduling Requests

If you authorize James to place phone calls or schedule appointments on your behalf:

  • Calls are made strictly according to your approved instructions
  • James identifies itself as acting on your behalf
  • We do not guarantee appointment availability or pricing

7. Subscription, Billing, and Trials

  • Some features require a paid subscription
  • Free trials automatically convert to paid plans unless canceled
  • Charges are non-refundable except where required by law
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues through the billing period

8. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and content associated with James are owned by Quiet Signal Labs, LLC.

You retain ownership of your personal content and data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy of generated drafts
  • Completion of requested tasks
  • Uninterrupted service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet Signal Labs, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or missed communications
  • Actions taken based on your approved instructions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

You may stop using James at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
